Cao Ganghua, male, was born in JiangSu Province in 1974. He graduated from the Department of History of Xuzhou Normal University in 1998 with BA degree, from the Institute of Chinese Ancient Books of Shanxi Normal University in 2001 with MA degree and graduated from the School of Chinese Ancient Books of Beijing Normal University in 2004 with PhD degree. He had been worked in the Department of History of East China Normal University three years (from 2004 to 2007).  Now , he is a lecturer of the Institute of Qing History of Renmin University of China.

His main publication is the research on Buddhist historical books in Song Dynasty (East China Normal University Publishing House, 2006) . He is engaged in the research on Buddhist chorography of Ming-Qing Dynasty.
