He Yu

He Yu, male and Manchu nationality, is a professor of the Institute of Qing History of Renmin University of China, tutoring PhD program.

Education Background:
1992-1996, studied at the Institute of Qing History of Renmin University of China, graduated with PhD degree
1982-1985, studied at the Department of History of Shanxi University, majoring in the modern and contemporary history of China in modern and contemporary times, graduated with an MA degree in history
1978-1982, studied at the Department of History of Shanxi University and graduated with a BA degree in history

Awards:
One Inch of Gold for One Inch of Land: Thoughts on History of Territory won the 1st prize at the 5th Session of National Excellent Youth Reading Material Award jointly organized by the Central Ministry of Publicity and the State Bureau of Publication in 1995
Encyclopedia of Qing Dynasty won 2000 National Book Award
History of Chinese Border Area was the candidate for the 8th Session of Five Projects in the Construction of Spirit Civilization in 2001; won the 4th Session of Excellent Research Achievements Award organized by China Academy of Social Sciences
He is now participating in the research of a grade-two project at the Historical Table Group of National Project of the History of Qing Dynasty, and the research of Prosperous Times under the Reign of Kangxi and Qianlong, a project of State Ministry of Education. He is also in charge of the research of zongfan system of China in modern times, a project of State Ministry of Education.
