Zhang Yan

Zhang Yan, female and born in 1948, graduated from Beijing Normal University with a BA degree in history in 1982, from Renmin University of China with an MA degree in history in 1984, is now a professor at the Institute of Qing History of Renmin University and tutors PhD program
Research Direction: ancient Chinese history, the history of Qing Dynasty, economic and social history
Teaching courses: general Chinese history (ancient history), Chinese economic history, Chinese social history, graduate academic writing, theme research of Qing history, social economic history, research foundation for PhD students, emperors of Qing Dynasty
Tutoring students: 4 with MA degree and 5 PhD with PhD degree, 7 PhD candidates
